Job Description:
Orascom E&C USA Inc. seeks Electrical Engineer fin Wever,
IA. Duties include: Act as the first line of quality check in electrical
engineering within the work area (15%). Expedite material, prepare project
estimates and maintain project cost control (12%). Evaluate contractors'
updated proposals, data and reports for conformance with company
standards (12%). Prepare field design change requisitions and as built drawings
(11%). Provide technical engineering information to company supervision
and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all engineering
standards, codes (NEC, NEMA, NFPA-780), and specifications (10%). Prepare and
disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch
lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already
completed(5%). Perform coordination duties between various project
stakeholders, including engineering, vendors and other project departments) to ensure
the continuity of site construction activities and prepare reports
on engineering activities to include documents progress,
construction non- conformities and other engineering activities (5%). Review
drawings to understand if holds are present and prepare reports on documents
received, documents missing and any anomalies with respect to documents
(5%).Attend meetings with other contractors and owner representatives to
coordinate interdisciplinary design and construction effort (5%). Work with
the planning team to ensure that schedules reflect the most updated
information on required documentation (4%). Review the electrical network
studies including the arc flash study and the short circuit study (4%).

change orders (4%). Perform risk assessment studies on plants'
structures to define the need for a lightning protection system (2%). Work
with field supervision and quality personal to provide input for the

conditions wi within assigned area of authority through the execution of the
corporate sa safety procedures and adherence to established safe practices
(1%). Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of
experience performing electrical engineering for large construction
engineering projects. Must possess the following specific skills/other
requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this
section): Identifying risk and ensuring compliance with the National
Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 780,
70E; Reviewing the electrical network studies including the arc flash
study and the short circuit study; Operation and commissioning of
electrical equipment such as switchgears, UPS, MCC and ATS; and Building
