Our leaders identify the technical talent best suited to bolster our client's capabilities, across all industries, including, healthcare, government, finance, legal, real estate, and startups.The projectTECKpert seeks to hire -a -Senior Project Manager - SaaS Implementation -to support our client, a government agency based in Des Moines, IA. -This hybrid role is 2 days on site and 3 days remote. Seeking -a project manager experienced in large scale SaaS implementations and legacy system -modernizations to lead modernization of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits, Integrity and -Appeals system. Modernization of workforce systems is a -priority and weaim -to be a leader in these efforts. We are in varying stages of modernization of all legacy systems. Atthe forefront is UI Modernization, transitioning from an in-house legacy mainframe system to a vendor-supported and hosted SaaS product. When live, the modernized system will provide a contemporary,web-based system to submit and process UI claims while interfacing/integrating with existing systemsincluding UI Tax and Virtual One Stop, among several inter-agency data exchanges. The project is amulti-year effort, currently in the design/development phase. The vendor operates a hybrid modelapproach - classic waterfall for overall project delivery with agile methodologies for feature developmentand testing. The project manager will be responsible for developing/maintaining a master projectplan/timeline, resource management plans and communication plan, while monitoring overall projecthealth and reporting status to the EPMO Bureau Chief, IWD CIO and UI Leadership. The project managerwill lead a highly skilled team of BAs and lead SMEs responsible for system design, -interfaces/integrations, data conversion, single sign-on and testing. In coordination with the BAs leads, -the project manager must ensure timely planning and execution of all project areas to secure a timely -delivery. To be effective in this role, the project manager must have experience with large scale -modernizations and software implementations, with an emphasis on vendor management and strategic -planning. It is a requirement that the PM have experience with Organizational Change Management and -demonstrated ability to engage with project stakeholders, leading them through transformational change. Day to day, the project manager will hold meetings with vendor project managers to discuss project -progress, stand ups with internal team to track progress, schedule and facilitate varying design focused -sessions, and prepare metrics or status reporting to be shared with leadership.Compensation and Term -This opportunity is for a full-time, one year contract position with possible extensions with pay commensurate with experience up to $60.15/hour or $125,112/year.
