Job Description:
Basic Function: -The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position is
accountable for the administrative, financial, and operational risk
management of the company, to include leading the - financial and
operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the
ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to
preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The
CFO will be responsible for creating & maintaining databases and
financial models that will integrate with enterprise resource
planning systems to ensure maximum analytical capability and
efficient processing of finance/accounting data. Furthermore, the
CFO will be expected to manage the financial models to support
business intelligence, and investment management/banking decisions.
Lastly, the CFO will need the mental acuity to be involved in all
business verticals spanning food & beverage, media, hospitality,
and investment management. Principal accountabilities
are:PlanningAssist in formulating the company's future direction
and supporting tactical initiativesMonitor and direct the
implementation of strategic business plansManage the capital
request, annual budgeting processes, and monthly forecast
processDevelop performance measures that support the company's
strategic directionIntegrate models, databases, and systems to
support efficient processing of finance/accounting data with
maximum analytical capability to support business planning,
investment management, and investment banking
decisionsOperationsParticipate in key decisions as a member of the
executive management teamMaintain in-depth relations with all
members of the management teamManage the accounting
departmentOversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies
and foreign operationsManage any third parties to which functions
have been outsourcedOversee the company's transaction processing
systemsImplement operational best practicesSupervise acquisition
due diligence and negotiate acquisitionsManage relationships with
financial partners & third party stakeholder, such as banks,
lending partners, and brokersFinancial InformationOversee the
issuance of financial informationManage and further enhance
financial reporting & reporting templatesManage and further enhance
financial models & databases to maximize analytical capabilities
while integrating them with enterprise resource planning
systemsProvide financial modeling support for core business
operationsReport financial results to ownership, board of
directors, and Executive ManagementManage the annual third party
audit, review, or compilation as applicableInvestment Management1.
Provide deal diligence & financial modeling support for outside
investment activities across food & beverage, media, healthcare,
hospitality, & other2. Interface with potential financial partners
including lenders, equity partners, & broker dealers3. Provide
portfolio analytical & monitoring support for a wide array of
public & private investmentsRisk ManagementUnderstand and mitigate
key elements of the company's business & portfolio risk
profileConstruct and monitor reliable control systemsMaintain

that the company complies with all accounting legal and regulatory
requirementsMaintain relations with external auditors and
investigate their findings and recommendationsTechnologyAggregate
all accounting & financial data into a centralized databaseAutomate
accounting functions and internal controls within the data
cubeMaintain a seamless financial reporting suitePerform special
analytical projects to support business decisions based on modeling
& analysis of data from the data cubeFundingMonitor cash balances
and cash forecastsEnsure compliance with financial covenants &
covenant reportingDesired Qualifications: -The candidate Chief
Financial Officer should have a bachelor or master's degree in
accounting, finance, computer information systems, and/or business
administration, or equivalent business experience and 5-10 years of
experience for a major company or division of a large corporation,
financial firm, or investment fund. - The candidate should have
experience working with or inside a CFO organization including
presenting to an executive team, and have a high level of written
and oral communication skills. Human capital management experience
and skills are desired. Extensive technology skills are desired
including financial reporting & modeling, database management &
analysis, and internal control process automation. The candidate
should a driven self-starter with high mental flexibility/acuity
with strong problem solving skills desire to deploy solutions in an
array of complex business and investment structures. Candidate is
expected to travel and handle work surges that involve work outside
