This enables us to effectively serve the needs of our members and help them succeed.The position's primary purpose is managing the day-to-day invoice processing and payment cycle activities. The Analyst II may prepare the accounting and perform daily operations for various areas including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier management, cash, expenses, and credit card reporting. This position will assist in preparation of government required reporting. In addition, this position may assist with various projects/requests related to the area.Accountabilities:Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:

  • Verify, process, and submit invoices in accordance with Bank standards.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for transactions, including invoices, journal entries, bank transfers, deposits and cash, in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure supplier and supplier contract data is accurate and complete, including working with other departments to get information necessary to process new and existing records.
  • Process vendor and employee reimbursement settlements, and follow-up on supplier and employee payment questions as they arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of government required reporting, such as 1042 and 1099 returns. Others might be assigned.
  • Contribute to improve the Accounts Payable and Employee Reimbursement processes.
  • Assist in period-close process by preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and other reports.
  • Provide quality customer-service through timely, accurate and friendly responses to inquiries received.
  • Assess, develop, and implement processes for efficiencies.
  • Assist in backing up of critical functions within the team.
  • Participate in preparation and review of internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures, including maintaining and reviewing periodically, along with maintaining Record Retention Policies.
  • Perform cross functional duties to support team processes.
  • Maintain strong communication with the team/manager and other Bank partners.
  • Serve as an active member of Bank working groups and committees.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA certification desirable
    • Three to Seven years of related experience (Month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes or 2+ years' of public accounting experience)
    • Knowledge of SOX controls
    • Financial close and reporting
    • Financial analysis
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and solution focused
    • Preparation/review of financial transactions, review/creation of financial statements, or preparation/review of reconciliations
    • Ability to work in a team and partner with other departments to obtain information
    • Working knowledge of change management; ability to be flexible with ever-changing goals and business deliverables
    • Workday experience desirable

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCompensation Range:Annual Salary: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
