Load, unload, and stage materials for carpenters and other trades. Assist with simple construction tasks such as holding, carrying, and positioning materials. Operate basic tools such as brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows, drills, and saws (under supervision). Set up and take down temporary barriers, signage, and safety rails. Support deliveries by directing drivers, moving pallets, and organizing storage areas. Help with basic demolition, stripping forms, or moving equipment as assigned. Work Environment Active construction sites with multiple trades present. Exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, and rain. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
