Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Residency Program Director, 997769 Description: Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (http://www.drake.edu/cphs/) is excited to launch a search for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor who will serve in the newly created Pharmacy Residency Program Director position at Mary Greeley Medical Center (https://www.mgmc.org/care/pharmacy/). This position represents an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join a new, innovative program and shape its direction and development. The successful candidate will report to the Pharmacy Practice Department Chair. Primary responsibilities include the development and oversight of a new PGY-1 ASHP-accredited residency program, development and growth of pharmacy services, education and supervision of learners, and contribution to the pharmacy and leadership team. Additional responsibilities include provision of introductory and advanced pharmacy practice educational experiences, teaching in didactic courses, and delivering inter-professional education. This position will also be responsible for mentoring students/residents, participating in College and University faculty governance, and engaging in scholarship efforts appropriate for non-tenure track faculty. A PharmD is required and successful candidates must be licensed or be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Iowa. Preference will be given to a candidate with PGY-1 & PGY-2 residency in Pharmacy Administration and Leadership. Relevant experience in administration, leadership, operations/logistics, human resources, medication safety, regulatory oversight (e.g. Joint Commission, DNV GL, CMS), 340B, informatics, data analytics are desirable. The successful candidate must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication skills, commitment to excellence in teaching, and strong administrative skills.
