ResponsibilitiesAs a Security Engineer (Penetration Testing) on our
Red Team for our Intelligent Solutions Group located in Des Moines,
IA you will.... Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration
testing on the technology stack used to bring automation and smart
solutions to Deere vehicles Provide remediation strategies for
vulnerabilities found Perform verification testing to ensure design
changes remediate vulnerabilities What Skills You Need
Understanding of cloud solutions and architectures supporting IoT
environments Proficiency in testing and assessment of mobile
operating systems, embedded systems and/or IoT devices Experience
with planning and executing Red Teaming exercises Understanding of
various network, web, IoT and industrial related protocols like
(TCP/UDP, HTTPS, MQTTS, automotive Ethernet, CAN, etc) Experience
with programming languages like Python, C#, C/C++ Excellent written
and verbal communication skills Experience with AWS based solutions
What Makes You Stand Out Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems
Ability to manipulate debug interfaces (UART, JTAG, etc) and
peripheral buses (SPI, I2C, etc) Experience with vehicle embedded
systems engineering Experience with public key encryption (PKI) in
the embedded space Experience with embedded Linux and other Real
Time Operating Systems (RTOS) EducationIdeally you will have a
degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree Cyber Security / Security Engineering, Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
