Company, is currently offering an opportunity for a Repair
Technician with an emphasis on Control Valve, Actuation and Field
Services to join our fast paced, customer oriented team. The
successful candidate will have excellent industrial aptitude and
will be committed to the success of our company. Essential Duties
and Responsibilities:Follow all safety guidelinesRepair, test,
calibrate and troubleshoot control valvesTuning, calibrating,
starting-up and commissioning, servicing of mechanical products
and/or automated controls (i.e. panels, digital controllers,
control valves, metering and building automation equipment)Assist
with the repair and testing of safety relief, industrial gate,
globe and check valvesRigging and hoisting valve and actuator
components in compliance with OSHA standardsAssist in loading and
unloading tools and equipment into service vehiclesApply math
skills to verify measurements, calculate dimensions and verify
tolerancesComplete valve repair and service reportsDrive company
vehicle to and from job sitesMaintain a clean work
environmentAverage travel time is up to 40% (Monday-Friday) over
the course of the year. This means local travel to customer sites
to perform on-site work and travel as needed throughout the
Midwest.30-35% overnight travel to customer sites during the Spring
and FallSpring and Fall are outage seasons and are the busy travel
times of the yearOvernight travel is requiredOther duties as
requiredRequirements: Education and/or Experience:High School
Diploma RequiredAssociates Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical,
Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical or related Technology field
PreferredDedication to a safe work environment through effective
housekeeping, workplace safety, etc.Industrial maintenance or
industrial valve repair preferredIndustrial electricity experience
or actuator setup preferredIndustrial safety and relief valve
experience preferredIndustrial electrical safety preferred
Additional Requirements:Must have electrical aptitudeMust be able
to take direction, use initiative and follow through to
completionStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh
computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, and
ability to learn internal business systemsStrong attention to
detail and conscientious natureAbility and strong desire to lead by
example, as well as work well with othersMust be willing to work on
site at customer facilitiesMust have a valid driver's license and
the ability to be insured on company insuranceMust be willing to
learn and improve skill level for future advancementWork weekends
and afterhours as needed Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up
to 50lbsAbility of hands to grasp and manipulate small
objects/toolsAbility to work with hand toolsAbility to work at
heightsAbility to stoop, crawl and crouch while working on
equipment on hands and kneesAbility to work on your feet for 8
hours per dayAbility to work in a loud industrial
environmentComfortable working around industrial equipment with
exposed moving partsAbility to climb stairs (up to 20 flights per
day)Ability to climb a 20 ft. ladderAbility to work with up to 480
voltsAbility to drive on average 3-4 hours in a dayAbility to drive
8 hours as needed in a day - although not typicalAbility to work in
high and cold temperature environments for extended hours Pay:Cash
compensation potential: $59-86K (Inclusive of base rate, overtime,
and bonus)Additional pay for field workThis is an hourly role
