Position--This position can be located in Des Monies, IA or Moline,
IL.--This position is eligible for a partial telework schedule
arrangement at the present time.-- The arrangement may be delayed
for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject
to change.----Your Responsibilities--As an Embedded Security
Engineer on our Red Team in our Intelligent Solutions Group located
in Des Moines, IA, you will perform vulnerability assessments and
penetration testing on the technology stack used to bring
automation and smart solutions to Deere vehicles. In addition, you
will:----
- Provide remediation strategies for vulnerabilities found
- Perform verification testing to ensure design changes remediate
vulnerabilities--VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this
positionWhat Skills You Need --
- Understanding of cloud solutions and architectures supporting
IoT environments
- Understanding of mobile operating systems, embedded systems
and/or IoT devices
- Understanding of various network, web, IoT and industrial
related protocols like (TCP/UDP, HTTPS, MQTTS, automotive Ethernet,
CAN, etc)
- Experience with programming languages like Python, C#,
C/C++
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of--AWS based solutionsWhat Makes You Stand Out--
- Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems
- Ability to manipulate debug interfaces (UART, JTAG, etc) and
peripheral buses (SPI, I2C, etc)
- Experience with vehicle embedded systems engineering
- Experience with public key encryption (PKI) in the embedded
space
- Experience with embedded Linux and other Real Time Operating
Systems (RTOS)Education --Ideally you will have a degree or
equivalent related work experience in the following:--
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security / Security Engineering,
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or
