Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Supports and
implements the organizations vision, mission, and values.* Promotes
a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that
values learning and a commitment to quality.* Ensures staff members
receive timely and appropriate training and development.*
Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals,
assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities,
measures performance, evaluates results, and administers salary
adjustments.* Provides high quality, service-oriented support to
meet the needs of internal customers.* Fosters and promotes a
culture of service excellence and accountability. Communicates
effectively throughout the organization with customers with
colleagues at all levels in the organization.* Performs job duties
independently and exercises good judgment.* Develops, plans,
implements, and executes organization-wide preventive maintenance
plans for all facilities including mobile facilities and associated
equipment.* Conducts periodic assessments of environmental
cleaning, landscape maintenance, parking, and security contractors
for adherence to company policies and quality of work for
recommendation to upper and senior management.* Develops,
recommends, plans, and implements safety programs, policies, and
procedures in compliance with organizational, local, state, and
federal rules and regulations. Advises leadership on safety
compliance concerns and makes recommendations on preventative
actions.* Plans and implements training for employees on work site
safety and environmental practices.* Performs safety inspections
and ergonomic assessments, prepares written reports of findings and
recommendations for corrective or preventive measures, and follows
up to ensure measures have been implemented.* Responds in a timely
manner to correspondence from regulatory agencies associated with
interval preventive maintenance and testing including backflow
prevention assemblies, elevators, fire suppression and
communication systems, and others.* Maintains Safety Data Sheet
documentation of chemicals used by facilities maintenance staff
including contracted environmental cleaning services and maintains
up-to-date inventory and documentation on hazardous materials
stored and used within the organization.* Manages the intake,
assignment, follow-up, quality, and internal customer service
related to facilities maintenance projects.* Supervises facilities
staff to ensure productivity, accountability and workmanship
standards and goals are met.* Maintains vendor relationships and
cultivates new relationships as necessary for effective and
efficient facilities maintenance.* Requests, evaluates, and
develops plans for repairs, renovations, expansion and build out of
new facilities to assist with the development of comprehensive
space and budgetary planning for leadership and BOD approval.*
Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

functions.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Required: Bachelors degree in
facilities engineering, or similar engineering background that may
include mechanical, environmental, or construction engineering. And
a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in facilities or plant
operations supervision/management and at least 5 years of recent
management experience. Or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of
management experience and 5+ years of recent facilities management
experience.Preferred: 2 or more years experience in a health care
environment; PMP certificationLANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and
interpret documents, such as policies and procedures, benefits
information, benefit surveys, routine mail, construction and
architectural contracts, and procedure manuals. Ability to compose
routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
with employees, vendors, visitors, and management.MATHEMATICAL
SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and the ability to
apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING
ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. Ability to apply common sense to daily
situations that arise. Ability to make decisions and execute timely
to produce positive outcomes.
