Monday-Friday / 8am-5pm
Salary Range: $50,000-$67,000The Account Manager is responsible for cultivating customer relationships by providing innovative and competitive solutions and by providing exceptional service on all awarded business.Responsibilities:Carrying out the Company's organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies are required functions. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Increase depth of penetration of assigned-customers' networks through relationship cultivation and service-offerings that speak to our knowledge of the customer's business.
  • Manage a variety of spot- and contractual-based accounts, migrating one's efforts to where the freight is (i.e., which platforms / customers are hot, which are cold, and constantly reevaluating each).
  • Complete RFPs for each assigned account in a collaborative fashion; account roster is dynamic.
  • Collaborate daily with General Ops, Carrier Development, and brokers regarding available freight (current and future targets).
  • Reviews scorecards with Manager of Business Dev. and Accounts along with CSRs in order to improve how we service each account.
  • Assist with training CSRs and Ops in the best ways to service each account.
  • Ability to book freight with carriers as applicable.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
    Requirements:Education: High School Diploma/GED, Preferred or equivalent work experienceCourse(s) of Study: Logistics/Transportation/BusinessExperience: 3-5 YearsType of Experience: Experience in transportation or logistics industry involving dispatch and customer service.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
