In the product manager role, youll beresponsible for creating strong, trusting relationships with stakeholdersacross marketing, sales, product segments, support and customer success, tounderstand the business needs and define the vision of the experience thatexceeds customer expectations. You will partner with business analysts, UXresearchers and designers, and developers to define features, capture userstories and then prioritize design and development plans.This is the perfect role for you if you have best-in-classproduct management skills combined with experience in any of the followingareas: websites, complex product portfolios, customer communities, customeradvocacy programs, virtual events, physical events, eCommerce or onlinepurchases, start-for-free programs or freemium programs or software trials,marketing demand generation campaigns, marketing automation, personalization, webcomponent services, architectural patterns, omnichannel sales, and/or omnichannelcustomer contact.A Senior Product Manager is expected to:Be the primary contact with stakeholders, starting by understandingbusiness problems and needed outcomes and advocating for the customerDefine and champion a compelling product vision both the stakeholdersand the UX and development teams can rally behindCapture, document and prioritize the business requirementsDevelop the product roadmap that informs a prioritizeddesign and development planSet targets for success and constantly review analytics, thecompetitive landscape and evolving customer needsPrioritize product features and categorize into key deliverymilestones and releasesBe one side of a very strong product leadership triangle,with UX and development being the other two sidesCommunicate the good and the bad - with stakeholders atall points of the product lifecycle - from requirements collection toconfirmation to UAT to release and iterationsPlan future features, releases and iterations, based onqualitative and quantitative dataA Senior Product Manager has these skills:Excellent listener and empathetic communicatorComfortable with healthy tension to challenge status quo andinside-out thinkingComfortable communicating news that stakeholders may notwant to hearAble to make hard priority decisions and back them up withreason, data and logicStoryteller and sociableSpeaks design language with designers, development languagewith developers and business language with stakeholdersNatural leader of a team of peers that makes consistentprogressHigh emotional intelligenceAbility to influence, especially with senior-levelstakeholdersHighly organized with complex projects and comfortablefollowing a process sets the example for the team norms and desired behaviorsBusiness savvy and knows how to think of digital experiencesas a revenue driver and loyalty driverA Senior Product Manager has experience with:Software users and the buyers journey and customerlifecycle taken by software customersSaaS productsWorking in website design, cloud application developmentand/or marketing executionBeing on a team with UX researchers, designers and technicaldevelopersCollecting business requirements and developing visions,roadmaps and stakeholder mapsHuman-centered design (certified through Luma Institute, aplus)Large, matrixed, global organizations with complex productportfoliosDriving change inside organizations and/or with customersContinuous delivery (through Agile, a plus)Working across a wide variety of stakeholders with differentproduct, cultural, geographic, language and prior experience biasesBuilding relationships with stakeholders at everyorganizational level, for example C-suite, VPs, directors, managers, individualcontributors, co-ops and internsBeing flexible with roles and responsibilities when the teamis in needWorking remotely with distributed teamsOne or more of the following areas: websites, complexproduct portfolios, customer communities, customer advocacy programs, virtualevents, physical events, eCommerce or online purchases, start-for-free programsor freemium programs or software trials, marketing demand generation campaigns,marketing automation, personalization, web component services, architecturalpatterns, omnichannel sales, and/or omnichannel customer contact.Minimum Requirements:7+ years as a product manager and/or equivalent role3+ years in web design and/or development in marketing,eCommerce and/or customer support/successExpert in at least one project management framework that youknow inside and out and would be ready to start implementing week 1 (example:Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)Advanced experience with at least one of the major productmanagement software systems (example: JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc.)Able to travel on average 1 week per quarterManaged at least one digital product for entire productlifecycle from requirements and vision, through roadmap and at least MVPlaunchAt Siemens we are always challengingourselves to build a better future.
