Must be able to be in the office**What You'll Do: As the Commercial Business Development Director you will lead, develop the strategy, and manage consistent execution of Commercial product delivery across the eight state business units. The position will partner with multiple departments to manage current product performance and to identify and lead future enhancements. You will also be responsible for sourcing, managing, and implementing growth opportunities and ensuring profitability across all Commercial lines of business. Other duties may include: -Manage and coordinate all operational components of the Commercial product lines and markets to ensure profitable growth of the Commercial business. -Monitor overall financial performance of each product line. -Understand the current penetration of the product and identify opportunities to increase sales to reach full profitability potential. -Manage vendor and reinsurance relations, interactions and performance. -Develop, implement and execute the Commercial strategy. -Understand product and consumer trends to ensure products remain viable in the market. -Lead project teams, prepare recommendations for process/coverage/system enhancements, and work with the Commercial VP to track and report results -Oversee all staff development aspects including the selection, training/development, disciplining/performance review, salary administration, referring employee complaints, controlling workflow, motivation of employees, and assigned budget activities. What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree or equivalent plus ten years of relevant insurance experience required. Five years industry leadership experience required.
• CPCU required.
• Market knowledge required with the ability to prospect and research current and future enhancements and opportunities.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, strategic planning, analytical and organizational skills required.
• Must be results oriented and able to adapt and deal with ambiguous situations and mange expectations.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required (Some travel including overnight stays may be required).
