Emergency Medicine opening - Grundy Center, IA Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or BC Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience Position Details - Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access- 25-bed critical access hospital- Hospital provides essential 24/7/365 emergency care along with inpatient care. - The Specialty Clinic offers a variety of specialties that patients would otherwise have to travel to larger cities for. - In June of 2022, the hospital broke ground on a $31 million building project that includes a Surgery and Imaging addition and Lab expansion, solidifying the hospitals commitment to providing top notch local health care.- Opportunity to pick up shifts in Nearby Hospital Emergency Department- Stable group of experienced providers- Specially trained nurses in providing emergency adult and pediatric care, as well as in trauma and resuscitation- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Twelve 12-hour shifts per month - 25 bed Critical Access Hospital- Level IV Trauma Center- 6 bed ED with dedicated trauma bay and behavioral health room- Average 5,000 visits per year- Occasional APP backup call- Dedicated Hospitalist Team- Easy access to variety of visiting specialists- Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills- Opportunity to pick up shifts in the Emergency Department in Waterloo Compensation/Benefits - Location eligible for Health Professional Recruitment Program (HPRP) - Attractive compensation plan and incentive package- A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.- Generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more- Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, including a free third-party service for loan restructuring and consolidation.- A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. - Support and development opportunities that are a crucial part of delivering a remarkable employment experience. - A culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing whats right for the people we serve.
