Job Description:

Inpatient Associate Medical Director is needed to join our client in Iowa with close proximity to Des Moines. You will join an established hospital medicine program with a cohesive group of experienced providers and supportive staff. There will be a good balance of administrative and clinical duties. This is a great place to live, work and raise a family..4 FTE - dedicated administrative time (support CMO with quality work, function as inpatient EPIC physician champion and inpatient medical director). .6 FTE - dedicated to clinical shifts (admitting and rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years and older. Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions regarding patient care). 9 clinical shifts per month; 12 hours; 7a - 7p. 16 hours of administrative time per week. Telehospitalist service overnight. Average patients/day = 18. Open ICU with intensivist available to consult. No night shifts, no call, no procedures and no codes. Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment. Outstanding work/life balance with flexible scheduling. Leadership and practice experience preferred.
