Overview:RN Supervisor, Surgery DepartmentWaterloo, IA - Allen HospitalFull-time: 6am-2:30pm, no weekends or holidaysResponsible for supervising the daily activities of the unit utilizing quality and cost-effective patient care principles to including operations, staffing levels and employee relations. Collaborates with nursing leadership and education professionals to organize, implement and evaluate education programs (orientation, in-services, competencies, classroom, etc.) to facilitate skill development, competency and proficiency in standards of care for perioperative services, perioperative leadership, clinical staff and patients.Why UnityPoint Health?:At UnityPoint Health, you matter. Provides feedback and input to Manager/Director for ongoing performance management.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program with completion within two years of hire date. Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.Experience:Minimum of three years operating room experience as a registered nurse. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Proven teaching expertise preferred.Licenses/Certifications:Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.Certified Nurse Operating Room within one year of hire.Advance certifications per specialty preferred.Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.#WM123by Jobble
