Pride Health is hiring a RN MedSurg to support our client's medical facility in Des Moines, IA 50309. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Summary:--- RN MedSurg. 36 hours per week (3x12s, Days: 7 am - 7:30 pm, every third weekend)--- IA State RN license or compact state license--- BLS, ACLS (AHA)--- Bachelor's of science in nursing is requiredRN MedSurg:--- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.--- Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.--- Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.--- Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.--- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.--- Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.Experience required:--- Two years of MedSurg experience is required.--- EPIC experience required.Additional Information:--- Location: Des Moines, IA 50309--- Job Type: 13 weeks--- Shifts: 36 hours per week (3x12s, Days: 7 am - 7:30 pm, every third weekend)--- Weekly Travel Pay Range: $2200/week to $2350/week*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
