Registered Nurse - Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg Y5- Meth) -
Start Date: November 23, 2025 - End Date: February 22, 2026 -
Duration: 13-week travel nurse contract - Shift: 12-hour day shifts
(4 shifts/week) - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880
- $2,020 - Floating: May float to ILH, MWH, IMMC campuses as needed
- Weekend/Holiday: Rotating weekends and holidays Registered Nurse
Qualifications - Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license –
required for all RN jobs in Iowa - BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience - Ability to
float between hospital campuses as needed - Excellent communication
and teamwork skills Med/Surg RN Responsibilities - Provide safe,
effective, and compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical
patients - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
in collaboration with the healthcare team - Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor patient
progress, document care accurately, and update electronic health
records - Educate patients and families on health conditions,
discharge instructions, and post-hospital care - Float to other
Med/Surg units or Des Moines campuses as required to support
