Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position caring
for post-op surgical patients with floating requirements across
multiple campuses. Responsibilities - Work in a 30-bed Med/Surg
unit specializing in post-operative care - Primary patient
population includes hip/knee replacements, mastectomies, and
abdominal surgeries - Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4-5 -
Administer and monitor PCA and Heparin drips - Use Epic EMR for
documentation - Required to float between different hospital
campuses - Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New
Year's, Thanksgiving) - Responsibilities include providing nursing
care to post-operative surgical patients - Candidates requesting
time off from 11/26/25-11/30/25 or 12/23/25-1/2/26 may only request
one day off within each period - First-time travelers are welcome
to apply - Returning employees must not have been employed within
the previous 12 months - Team-oriented work environment across
multiple campuses - Holiday coverage is mandatory as specified by
the unit Requirements - Active IA or compact RN license required -
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience - Post-op surgical
experience highly preferred - Current BLS (AHA) certification
required - References required, including one supervisory reference
from within the past 2 years - Epic EMR experience preferred
