Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience, active ARRT or CCI certification, and proficiency in scrubbing for travel assignments. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiac catheterization lab environment, floating to multiple campuses within the same health system - Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac cath, structural heart, and EP procedures - Procedures may include cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology studies - Call coverage and weekend/holiday shifts required as part of the schedule - Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred - Floating across campuses required as needed and may include various cardiac units based on skillset - Travelers must be willing to float to all campuses within their skillset as part of their assignment - Winter holiday coverage requires working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) - Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2 - Dress code and scrub color requirements will be provided by the facility - Prior employees may be subject to a review of past employment history for eligibility - Proof of COVID vaccination or approved exemption is a condition of employment Requirements - At least 2 years of recent cath lab experience required - Active ARRT or CCI certification required; license required if applicable - BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required and must be current - Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently - Structural heart experience strongly preferred - EP experience preferred - Travel experience required - Epic EMR charting experience preferred - Must be willing to take call and work scheduled holidays - COVID vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions considered - One supervisory reference from the past 2 years required for consideration Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610677.
