Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Trauma Location: Des Moines, IA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $280 to $300 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum Tenens Opportunity – Trauma Surgeon (Level II Trauma Center) Iowa Start Date: ASAP (on-site by end of August) Schedule: 15 shifts/month – mix of 12-hour day and night shifts In-house trauma call (7-day blocks of 12-hour nights) Clinic hours and OR time built into the shift Trauma night backup call split with the team Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center EMR: Epic Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric Imaging, lab, and pharmacy available on-site Teaching environment with resident rotations Procedures include trauma surgery and outpatient follow-ups Team Support: 7 Trauma Surgeons 12 Advanced Practice Providers (No APP supervision required) Requirements: Board Certified (can consider truly board-eligible candidates) Fellowship trained in Critical Care Active Iowa medical license Must be capable of handling full-scope trauma (not just EGS)
