Telemetry Unit - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Hours
per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1630-$1750 -
Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site RN Qualifications and
Requirements - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or
compact state eligibility - Minimum 1 year of recent experience in
a Med/Surg Telemetry or medical surgical telemetry setting - BLS
certification (American Heart Association preferred) - Ability to
float within the resource pool as needed - Strong communication and
critical thinking skills - Compliance with all healthcare
onboarding requirements (health screenings, competency testing,
background check, etc.) Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities - Provide
high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the
Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Monitor, assess, and document patient
conditions and responses to treatment - Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans - Educate patients and families on care plans,
procedures, and post-discharge care - Maintain accurate and timely
documentation in accordance with hospital and nursing policies -
Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols
