Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,181 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Des Moines, Iowa, 50309! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Pediatric experience within previous 18 months, Hematology/Oncology experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license Certifications: APHON, PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Must have completed one travel contract within previous 18 months Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates will receive a phone call or text from a local area code. Local radius rule is 50 miles for candidates. Must be willing to float to the Emergency Department to care for inpatient holds. Work history must include 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology experience. Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline listed in the job (Pediatric/Oncology). Professional references must be provided from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director performance evaluations within 24 months of today's date. A valid driver's license is required. Candidates must hold current certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Membership in the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses is required. Patient types include Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2-4. The bed size of the unit is 14.
