Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience required. License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - EPIC EMR experience required. - Patient types must include all types of Med Surg care, including overflow of post-op surgical hips/knees required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry. Nurses will provide care for patients requiring Med Surg services. The unit includes a mix of patient types, including post-operative surgical cases. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 4-5:1. The bed size is 24. Monitoring of patients will be done remotely. Nurses are expected to wear navy blue scrubs. Flexibility to float across different campuses is required.
