Moines, Iowa, 50316! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Emergency Department License: Active Iowa or Multistate license
required Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Must-Have: - 36 months
of emergency medicine experience - Experience caring for pediatrics
and adults - Experience with behavioral health patients is highly
preferred - Experience with drips, including sedation and
vasoactive medications - Experience reading, measuring, and
interpreting telemetry strips - Active TNCC certification required
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse
manager within 24 months Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room. The nurse will
be required to float across multiple campuses as needed. The
patient population includes behavioral health, pediatrics, and
adults. The unit has a bed size of 18 with a nurse-to-patient ratio
of 4:1. The nurse will manage drips, including sedation and
vasoactive medications. Navy blue scrubs are required. This
position includes every third weekend and holiday rotation if
scheduled. The candidate must have a minimum of 36 months of
current Emergency Department experience. First-time travelers are
accepted; however, 36 months of ED experience is required for
consideration. Experience with pediatric and adult patients is
necessary. The ability to manage behavioral health patients is
highly preferred. Candidates must be skilled in reading and
interpreting telemetry strips. An active TNCC certification is
required to apply for this position. References must be provided to
