Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,235 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months minimum in Med Surg/Med Surg Tele License: Active state license or compact/multistate license Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Must-Have: - Proficiency caring for all patient types in a variety of Med Surg cases - EPIC EMR experience - Experience with Heparin Description: We are seeking motivated individuals who can adapt to changes as we grow our unit. Team members should be willing to help others learn and contribute positive ideas and attitudes. Registered Nurses will train on the Med Surg post-op surgical care unit before transitioning to the main unit. RNs will care for a variety of Med Surg patients with a patient ratio of 4-5:1. The unit has a bed size of 15 with remote telemetry monitoring. Nurses may be required to float across different campuses. Charge roles and precepting new team members may also be required. Candidates must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months. References from supervisors or directors within the last 24 months are preferred.
