Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Details We are currently seeking qualified professionals to fill a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing role. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, totaling 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include floating to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and holding patients in the Emergency Department (ED) as needed. Holiday rotation may be required as scheduled. Weekend and Holiday Requirements - Availability to work as scheduled on weekends - Participation in holiday rotation if scheduled Required Qualifications - Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) - Willingness to float to NICU and hold patients in the ED when necessary - Current PALS certification from AHA - Proficiency in EPIC EMR system - Active Iowa nursing license or Compact/Multistate license Certification Requirements - BLS certification from AHA or ARC - ACLS certification from AHA or ARC - PALS certification from AHA Orientation Details Orientation is scheduled for March 16th. Please note, candidates cannot start on March 2nd or April 6th.
