As a Med Surg nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. You'll have the opportunity to work with the EPIC electronic medical system and gain experience floating across multiple campuses. Provide comprehensive nursing care to general med surg patients Administer medications, including Heparin drips, as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including wearing navy blue scrubs Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed Maintain an active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license Hold a current BLS certification from AHA or ARC Possess at least 24 months of Med Surg/Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience Previous travel experience within the past 18 months De-escalation certification preferred (MAB, MOAB, CPI, SAMA) COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply) Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
