Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Technologist - X-Ray /n/n Job Details: /n • Work with Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm /n• Provide operating room support with C-arms and O-arms experience required /n• Support all areas of Radiology including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams /n• Float across multiple campuses: Iowa Lutheran and Methodist West /n• Work with patients of all age groups based on shift requirements /n• Use EPIC electronic medical record system /n• Minimum 24 months of X-Ray experience required with hospital/medical center experience prioritized /n• Surgery fluoroscopy experience required /n• Required certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (AHA) /n• Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred /n• Must have experience with Siemens fixed equipment, Carestream portables, GE OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-Arm /n• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months required /n• Valid driver's license required /n• Regular hours: 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours /n• Extended hours: 48 hours per week with overtime billable after 48 hours /n/n Facility: /n This major medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare system offering advanced medical services and state-of-the-art technology.
