Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work with cardiac patients including CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, cardiac drips, and vascular surgical patients • Patient ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:6 on a 24-bed unit • Float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran as needed • Every 4th weekend/holiday rotation when scheduled • Required to wear solid navy blue scrubs • Work with cardiac drips including Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Diltiazem, Dopamine • Unit has telemetry tech monitoring available • Must have 24 months minimum telemetry/cardiac experience • Previous travel contract experience required - no first-time travelers accepted • Must have completed at least one travel contract within previous 18 months • EPIC EMR experience required • Equipment experience required: Alaris IV pump, wound vac • Cardiac rhythm experience and drip/titration experience required • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) • Active Iowa nursing license required • Skills checklist specific to telemetry required • Professional reference from charge nurse/supervisor/manager within 24 months required Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing advanced cardiac care services with specialized telemetry units.
