This role demands a high level of competence, compassion, and agility in handling complex clinical situations. Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care in an emergency room setting. Initiate patient treatment and evaluate outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to formulate treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment and care plans. Administer medications and monitor their effects. Utilize advanced medical technology and tools. Document patient care services by charting in patient records. Proven ability to perform in high-stress environments. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Deep knowledge of health and safety guidelines. Proficiency in using medical technologies and software. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or ability to obtain. BLS Certification, ACLS preferred.
