Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,217 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - 24 months of respiratory care experience in a hospital or medical center setting required. - Experience in PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit preferred. - Equipment experience: High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, Jet, Servo U preferred. License: - Iowa license highly preferred; will accept licensing candidates with a 1-3 week turnaround time. Certifications: - All certifications must be active and in hand. - NRP or PALS certification required. - BLS certification (AHA) required. - NBRC certification required. Must-Have: - Work history/resume/employment history must demonstrate 36 months of current RRT / CRT respiratory therapy experience. - Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline of respiratory therapy. - Professional reference or reference check from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months is preferred. - Valid driver's license required. Description: - Quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text. - Candidates may be required to float across different campuses. - Traveler may be required to assist on the general Pediatric floor when needed. - Scrubs color: Gunpowder Gray. - Call back pay applies after being called back with a minimum of 2 hours. - All employees are expected to adhere to the Employee Separation Policy. - Drips include power injection and contrast injections. - Must possess experience with the required equipment and software, including electronic medical records.
