Location: Eddyville, IAShift: Full time - Monday to Friday, dayshiftPay range: $18-20/hrEssential Job Functions:

  • Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include but are not limited to Observation Process and all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Responsible for providing a variety of personnel coordination functions for all C&W Services operations located within Cargill facility.
  • Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, performing salary administration, staffing, and benefit liaison functions and employee time off tracking
  • Coordinates onboarding of new employees, training, employee services, employee relations and health promotion activities and ensures compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.
  • Must have strong computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite products and possess the ability to work alone, prioritize, and multitask. Experience with Workday and Purely HR a plus.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information and interactions
  • Oversee return to work documentation in accordance with Workers' Compensation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and site policy handbook
  • Assist in updating and completion of filing system for personnel records in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting talent acquisition in pre-hire background checks and coordinating candidate interview.
  • Assisting manager with employee reviews, tracking absenteeism and discipline, rewards and recognition.
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment and coordinate with leadership for decisions.
  • Employee will perform all other relevant duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensures compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
  • Support company goals and objectives by promoting a team oriented and safety conscious environment.
  • Work effectively with excellent time management skills.
  • Education: Possess a high school degree, post high school training in administrative field. An Associate degree in Office Technology or related field is ideal but not required. Experience with Workday and Purely HR platforms a plus.
  • Experience: Two year's experience in the administration field or related area preferred.
  • Background check and drug screen required
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on occasion. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to climb flights of stairs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
