Job Description Data Analyst Location: Des Moines, IA (Hybrid) Looking for a role where your insights directly influence business decisions? We are partnering with a growing organization that is investing heavily in data and analytics and is looking to add a skilled Data Analyst to their team. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to turn data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate data needs into actionable analysis Build, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making across the organization Query and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL to deliver both routine and ad hoc insights Ensure data accuracy through validation, cleansing, and quality checks Document data definitions, processes, and reporting logic to improve consistency and efficiency Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, improve reporting, and introduce automation Provide clear, business-friendly explanations of data findings and recommendations Contribute to ongoing improvements in data governance, reporting standards, and analytics capabilities What We’re Looking For 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data efficiently Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms Solid understanding of data structures, data quality, and reporting best practices Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders Experience with data validation, cleansing, and quality control processes Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Nice to Have Exposure to data governance principles and data stewardship practices Familiarity with predictive analytics or machine learning concepts Why This Role?
