DescriptionMartin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our Fort Dodge team working in the office. This candidate will be responsible for weighing and ticketing customer trucks. They will also help with general office work and purchase orders.Essential FunctionsIssue weight and product tickets at the scale houseSchedule and direct trucksWork cooperatively with sales department and dispatchUnderstand customers' needs and requirementsAnswer incoming telephone callsDaily production and inventory records in ExcelCash sales - document, verify & accurately fill out checks for customersResearch problem tickets and properly document findingsConvey any known customer needs and/or complaints with the appropriate peopleAssist office and plant staff as requiredWork with the work order and purchasing processCompetenciesAttention to DetailSafety AcumenEthical ConductTeamworkHigh Sense of UrgencyAccountabilityRelationship BuildingWork EnvironmentThis job operates 80-90% of the time in an office environment and 10-20% of the time outdoors.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
