Channel Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Coordinator, Channel Marketing is to assist the dealer marketing team in the daily servicing of their clients, and specifically their dealer network. This associate is task-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills, including thorough attention to detail and accuracy. The Channel Marketing Coordinator supports project-related and other administrative channel marketing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team to assist with any needs that help complete client projects
  • Learn all areas of the dealer marketing business to be able to plug-in and help as needed
  • Assist with all incoming general requests for the dealer network while utilizing a customer-service oriented mindset
  • Use client-facing communication skills to manage relationships with the dealer network on both phone and email channels, while also being able to anticipate their needs
  • Use client-facing communication skills to speak to the dealer network about marketing-focused enrollment opportunities
  • Efficiently route marketing projects with both the client and internal agency resources in a timely and organized manner
  • Use strong communication skills to train others, while being able to effectively speak of the services available
  • Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Assist with project brief development as requested
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of project workflow
  • Strong project management skills such as managing project timelines, resourcing creative team members, and monitoring the daily expenditure of budgeted hours/expenses
  • Execute tasks for projects, including job openings, creative daily tasks and internal and external job routings to keep projects moving forward
  • Assist with internal team management and general administrative responsibilities
  • Assist with or manage the print production process for printing client marketing pieces
  • Other duties, as assigned

Highest Level Tasks:

New Business Development

  • Opens and architects RFP/opportunity projects in Workamajig

Discovery/Strategy/Planning

  • Assists Channel Marketing Supervisor with initial program/campaign work-back schedules
  • Participates in creative kickoff for concepting

Program Execution

  • Assists Channel Marketing Manager with project estimating, work-back schedules and managing project timelines
  • Assists in developing status meeting agendas and recaps
  • Takes notes at client program/campaign/project kickoff meetings
  • Takes notes at internal program/campaign/project kickoff meetings and distributes to internal team
  • Keeps all teams informed, on-task and on-schedule throughout deliverable execution
  • Assists Channel Marketing Manager in monitoring daily expenditure of budgeted hours/expenses
  • Meets with team members daily to review progress, anticipate workflow issues and keep projects moving forward
  • Routes documents/deliverables to appropriate team members for review
  • Assists Channel Marketing Manager in maintaining projects/campaigns in Workamajig

Client Relations

  • Keeps Channel Marketing Manager informed of any issues that would impact client relationships

Program Administration

  • Reallocates internal and external resources in Workamajig
  • Documents post-program/campaign/project review takeaways
  • Maintains accurate client files

Admin

  • Participates in agency internal initiatives with supervisor approval
  • Initiates archiving process with creative/digital team
  • Completes timesheet daily

Qualifications

  • College degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field is preferred
  • Internship experience is a plus
  • Be a supportive and positive team member
  • Sales and digital marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to foster relationships with team members and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skills
  • Great communication skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with others
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple daily tasks and projects with tight deadlines
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Workamajig a plus
