Performance Pipe, A Division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., LP.,
an injection molding manufacturer of polyethylene pipe fittings,
located in Bloomfield, IA is seeking full-time employees for
Molding Set-Up positions.
Available position requires the ability to work safely in a
team-oriented environment. The Molding Department operates 3 shifts
7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm, 11 pm - 7 am, M-F. Overtime may be
required which includes weekends. Applicants must be 18 years or
older, high school diploma or GED is required in addition to a
valid driver's license.
We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who has a
demonstrated work history of shift work, in addition to working
injury free and following workplace/plant safety practices and
procedures. Experience in a manufacturing environment-injection
molding process experience a plus.

**Job duties include but not limited to:**
+ Work in a safe manner
+ Keep safety as a core value thru teamwork and participation
+ Participate in daily safety routines (both as an individual and
team member)
+ Maintain a clean work area
+ Operate processing machinery which includes hydraulic, electrical
and mechanical systems
+ Make adjustments associated with production equipment to process
a quality part
+ Operate an overhead crane
+ Perform Quality Control checks with the use of measuring
instruments
+ Perform additional duties such as grinding, running breaks,
x-raying, staging product and molding operator duties
**Successful candidates will need the following
qualifications:**
+ Be a team player
+ Work with minimum supervision
+ Basic computer and math skills
+ Proficient in communicating in English language (both verbal and
written)
+ Demonstrated work history of shift work
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment-injection molding
process experience a plus.
Pre-employment and on-going testing include controlled substances,
physical which includes MOBI testing (Mobile Equipment Operator
Exam), background check, audiogram and vision.

Entry level pay rate is $21.43/hr. with progressive increases
starting after a 120-day probationary period is reached and is
successful. Wages are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Time and one-half
(1-1/2) will be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty (40)
hours in one week and in excess of eight (8) hours in one day.
