The Condition Monitoring Lead Diagnostics Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that consistent and accurate results are delivered to our customers. This role is to be held by the subject matter expert in smart positioners and control valve diagnostics and will be a mentor for analysts globally. In this role, you will also drive the development and expansion activities of Emerson Valve Condition Monitoring platform analytics and reporting tools. This position will be based in our Marshalltown, IA location supporting Control Valves headquarters. • Expert in Valve Condition Monitoring products and tools (digital valve controllers and software platform) and cloud analytics tools
• Act as the technical support contact for all global (except those regionally supported) Valve Condition Monitoring contracts.
• Build technical and quality program documentation to detail the steps needed to deploy and deliver Valve Condition Monitoring service.
• Proactively review and collaborate with World Area Condition Monitoring execution resources to document opportunities to improve and automate the analysis process and introduce new features and functionalities.
• Be using global perspective, lead the technical discussions with various internal teams around enhancement projects required on the existing Condition Monitoring cloud platform tools. This involves active participation in the specification, design, and testing phases of these projects.
• Work with specific groups to report program issues and identify improvements that can support greater efficiency improvements.
• Participate in annual Condition Monitoring service champion summitsYOU ARE:You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • 5+ years' experience with digital positioner diagnostics and software
  • Bachelor's Degree, Mechanical Engineering preferred or related field
  • Will consider 8+ years' experience in digital positioner diagnostics and software in lieu of degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States -sponsorship will not be provided for this position.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
    • Software and programming languages experience is preferable
