Job Description:

The Product Family Architect (PFA), Salesforce CRM, acts as an owner and coordinator of Salesforce architecture design, technical strategy, and operational standards across the CRM Product Family. Because of this scale and complexity, the PFA has additional duties above a typical Solution Architect to work closely with the IT Product Owner and Product Line Architect on new and existing technical and business demand. They work in team-based environments to understand business requirements and design enterprise-level, global Salesforce solutions. IT PFA fosters innovative, productive teams, standard and compliant solutions.--- Lead planning and execution of technical lifecycle within the Salesforce and overall CRM Product Family with IT Product Owners, Solution Architects and Software Engineering Leads--- Engage with Business Product Owners and IT Business Relationship Managers on new demand request reviews, Salesforce technical solutions/evaluations and POC needs for the CRM Product Family--- Stay informed on Salesforce releases and acquisitions to help drive CRM product roadmap--- Make high/medium-level of effort estimates and high-level designs based on incomplete information (mockups, prototypes, architect designs)--- Design user focused and innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce, AppExchange packages, creation of complex data models, external integration, business process automation and custom functionality to solve business requirements--- Demonstrate understanding of Salesforce security setup and data visibility--- Promote the company's technology brand through creative thinking, and constantly raising the bar of what's possible--- Vet and choose AppExchange packages--- Maintain consistency of architectural principles across systems and applications by working with Solution Architects, Software Engineering Leads and IT Product Owners and in line with Salesforce best practices--- Ensure alignment of CRM product roadmaps through Product Owners and Solution Architects, including alignment with Salesforce & Corteva technology roadmaps and product family portfolios--- Set high level Salesforce technical architecture for CRM Product Family solutions and aid in determining when deviation is required--- Engage with teams and vendors on solution evaluations (SaaS and non-SaaS) and purchase recommendations--- Enable CRM Product Family teams by guiding new solutions (purchased and developed) for the Product Family through Enterprise Architecture, Privacy, and Security reviews--- Own the CRM Product Family solution and technology "tool kit"--- Architect and explain systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods to the team--- Demonstrate strong understanding of Salesforce limits (imposed b/c of the multi-tenant environment) and how to work within them--- Perform as the technical face of IT/Salesforce with business partners and Product Owners, representing the team's space within IT architecture community--- Act as the highest-level architectural decision-maker within the space--- Collaborate technically with Salesforce and other vendors, external development and support teams--- Provide 50% strategic direction and 50% hands-on support (will eventually be 80/20)--- Deliver to business needs and outcomes rather than implementing solutions defined by the business (IT owns the solution)--- Demonstrate a data quality and security mindset--- Make decisions around choosing the right technology (not always Salesforce)--- Participate in training document reviews for new enhancements--- Support R&M team for any functional/solution questions--- Lead while letting others do their jobs--- Participate in the new country onboarding activities including country onboarding workshops--- Have an Agile mindset--- Display ownership and protect the quality of the implementation--- Participate in multiple Grooming meetings to discuss the current implementation and new enhancements related to the user stories--- Participate in new demand discussions and complete solution scoping Minimum Requirements--- 3+ years technical domain experience in Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Administration, VisualForce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, APEX, Force.com, AppExchange deployment--- Professional certification, ideally Application/Systems/Data Arch--- Experience providing both strategic direction and performing hands-on configurations and customizations Desired Skills--- Einstein Analytics and Salesforce Mobile experience--- Experience with enterprise-level, global Salesforce implementations--- Experience with data migrations and integrations--- Experience working with Agile methodologies (preferably including SAFe Methodology)
