Responsibilities:
-Wausau Supply Company Distribution Material Handler is responsible for quality control and sorting and maintaining flow of materials through the distribution system. - - It is the responsibility of the Distribution Material Handler to be aware of all distribution goals and anticipate problems that could impact long term goals, including quality control and establishing high standards of workmanship. - In order to be effective as the Distribution Material Handler, individual must be fluent with communication, and it is imperative that positive relations with all internal levels of the organization remain uncompromised. -Duties to include, but not limited to:Pick and pack to ensure all orders are pulled and packaged properly to be loadedEnsure all orders are loaded properly on the correct trailer and all the paperwork is complete so the orders can shipDevelop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainingsConsistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety for self and others into daily activitiesSort and move product interdepartmentally while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, hand-helds, racks, etc. Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or company mission - -Distribution Material Handler Demonstrates:Ability to work on assigned tasks while portraying excellent teamwork mentalityProblem solving skills and innovative solutions Dynamic self-motivation and ability to work a flexible scheduleAbility to maintain positive moral within the workforce

Qualifications:
Education / Experience:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceWarehouse hand-held ERP technology experience a plus but not required - training will be provided -Working Demands / Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 75 poundsAbility to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of timeHours are 3pm to 11:30pm Sunday thru Thursday - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Reports to: -Distribution Manager/SupervisorConclusion: -The Distribution Material Handler will exemplify the high standards that have come to be associated with WSC.
