We've been providing exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.On-Premise Sales Specialist to manage a clearly defined Des Moines Iowa market.RESPONSIBILITES:Provide top level communication with accurate reportingNurture current customer relationships and build rapport with new customersDevelop thorough sales presentations for customersKnow and understand the sales trends and business practices of customers within your territoryWork flexible hours to provide sales support including staff trainings, wine dinners, conduct evening and weekend tastingsDevelop and execute a productive itinerary for winery representatives visiting the marketsAchieve objectives for product distribution, case goals and new account targets in assigned territoryQUALIFICATIONS:Must be 21 years of ageMinimum of 5 years on-premise wine sales experience with supplier or wholesalerBachelor's degree preferredWSET Level 3 / Certified Sommelier / CSW or equivalent work experience strongly preferredExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailHighly motivatedMust have ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player who can work well with minimal supervisionAbove average wine knowledgeMust be confident with cold calling and perseverance to open new accountsAbility to manage goals and track achievementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSupplier experience is usefulOccasional overnight travelComputer literate with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPointPeriodic and repetitive lifting of up to 50 poundsMust have a valid driver license, vehicle and a responsible MVRNO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE.
