Maintenance Supervisor

Company: Country Maid Inc
Location: West Bend

Job Description:

Description:Do you See Solutions Instead of Problems?
A strong leader does whatever it takes for the people around him or her to be successful. They'll strive to provide training and tools to their team, and they'll be excited to see their people learn and grow.
You might not have thought about it that way, though. For you, it's just what you do and who you are. You just want to do whatever you can to help others do well because it's in your DNA. And that makes you a great leader.
You may have had formal leadership experience in the past, or you may not have. Either way, you're ready to lead our team of three to four Maintenance Techs as they troubleshoot equipment issues in our 26,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility.
With your Associates degree and three to five years of maintenance experience (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience), you've been there, and you've done that as it relates to maintenance in a production facility. Because you've got familiarity with electrical and good overall mechanical aptitude, you'll guide the team in root cause analysis to not just see problems, but to see solutions.

  • Your background in food manufacturing or other process manufacturing will provide you the foundation you need as you maintain inventory control and manage purchasing and ordering for the department.
  • You'll also focus on process improvement with the overall goal of being a key in CMI's efforts to reduce downtime and increase efficacy in production processes, giving you the opportunity to impact the bottom line for yourself and every other employee-owner.
Because of your service orientation, you'll guide and teach rather than barking demands. And you'll roll up your sleeves and dig into issues as a critical member of the team rather than assigning blame.
Your outstanding communication skills will allow you to form strong relationships across all departments within the organization, ensuring your team always has a voice.
And as you help the people around you achieve all they can, your manager is going to do the same for you. You see, this position is open because the person you're replacing accepted a promotion within the company. So as your teaching mentality is helping your own team gain valuable new skills and experience, the people around you will do the same for you, paying for training to benefit you in your new role with the hopes of helping you reach new heights in your own career and paycheck.
You'll join a company that believes in having harmony between your work and your home life, not having to pick one or the other. You'll work first shift on four, 10-hour shifts most weeks, so you'll often get three-day weekends. You may have to occasionally be on-call, but you'll get generous call-in pay if you come in.
Your family will think you're a hero for all the free Butter Braid pastries and cakes you bring home for them.
And that's in addition to the full benefit package you'll get working here. You'll get insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, we'll pay for your boots and tools, and a wellness benefit. You'll also become one of our employee owners; Country Maid is a 100% employee-owned company.
If you're ready to be our next Maintenance Supervisor, don't delay and regret letting this opportunity pass you by. Apply today!Requirements:*Associates degree in Maintenance or electrical or related field and four to six years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience totaling five to eight years).
