begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior
Analytics Consultant to assist with the data and analytics needs of
Investment Solutions (IS) Center of Excellence within Wealth and
Investment Management (WIM). Our team serves many different
functional areas within and outside of Investment Solutions
including research, capital markets, investment products, portfolio
analysis, and finance. A successful candidate will manage
reporting, projects, and perform analysis on a wide range of
business initiatives. We are looking for an individual with proven
problem solving skills and experience in analytics. Investment
management expertise is an advantage. This position will require
use of a variety of coding languages and visualization software.In
this role, you will:
- Use specialized financial functional knowledge of complex
financial products, pricing implications, regulatory standards,
financial performance, financial forecasting to assist in designing
robust models, and complex non-model quantitative tools that
support strategic decision
- Manage or participate on large cross group projects and mentor
less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external
contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Streamline and automate repetitive tasks
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for
supported area
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance
regulations and policies
- Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in
meeting its risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals
St. Louis, MO and Charlotte, NC are preferred locations for this
position. Posting locations below may also be considered. This role
will operate on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days
remote). Telework or remote work setting not available. This
position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements,
including successful completion and clearing of a background check.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated
through one or a combination of the following: work experience,
training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL in various environments
- Experience in reporting, analysis, and dashboarding
- Familiarity with Python, SAS, C#, SQL Server, Teradata
- Knowledge and understanding of statistics and statistical
modeling
- Ability to translate complex technical issues in non-technical
language
- Act as a liaison between technology and business teams
- Willingness to learn new technical skills / languages
