About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst. The Partnerships,
Strategy & Loyalty (PSL) team is responsible for the management and
growth of Wells Fargo's Credit Card Rewards programs. This position
will be responsible for managing the Small Business Credit Card
rewards contra-revenue and rewards liability, including
forecasting, actuals with variances explanations, expense tracking,
and will be the model owner. The position will also support Finance
and the PSL team with ad hoc analysis as needed.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for managing the Small Business Credit Cards rewards
expenses (contra revenue), including forecasting, actuals
reporting, month end close entries and validations, points costing,
model ownership and ad hoc requests
Responsible for managing the Small Business Credit Card rewards
liability, which includes preparing and presenting the quarterly
reserve and KPI analysis to the Rewards Liability Forum, monthly
reserve adequacy reporting, model ownership, and ad hoc
analysis
Understand and support aspects of Credit Card financials including
investment determination, project management, expense management,
portfolio performance, and be a subject matter expert for rewards
expenses and liabilities
Collaborate across Finance to support forecasting, investment
decisions, FP&A reporting, and expense work related to the
Small Business Credit Card rewards program
Partner with Operations, Credit Risk, and other areas of the Bank
as necessary to support the PSL team
Participate in the forecasting process, working with the
forecasting team to ensure accurate Small Business Credit Card
rewards outlook coordinating with the necessary business teams
Support ad hoc business and finance needs across Cards/Wells
Fargo
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through
one or a combination of the following: work experience, training,
military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following:
Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Experience in SAS programming and writing/using code to perform
analysis, modeling, and reporting
Understanding the financial side and the strategic side of the
business to assist the business in its growth efforts
Ability to translate and present financials, projects and data in a
manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence
decisions
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
