Job Description:
Our client in the Des Moines area is looking for Shipping &
Receiving Handlers to join their team. This is a full time
position, temp to direct hire after 90 days.
Functions:
Working in a team to ensure timely and error-free shipments while
adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Read basic print facts and tape measure to ensure accuracy
Operate overhead/jib cranes and forklifts to move, load, unload raw
material, work in progress, and finished goods.
Inspect and verify shipments through proper documentation, complete
paperwork, and shipping procedures as required.
Occasional grasping, pushing, pulling, flipping, and lifting of
sheet metal (up to 100 lbs.)
