We are looking for an experienced inventory planner to take responsibility for planning, forecasting, and managing the inventory levels of finished goods and subcomponents. The Inventory Planner will work closely with the production, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure optimal inventory availability and minimize excess or obsolete stock. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and skills in inventory analysis and ERP systems.
Responsibilities--- Plan and forecast the inventory requirements for finished goods subcomponents based on demand, lead time, and safety stock.--- Monitor and report on the inventory levels, schedule, and performance indicators.--- Coordinate with the production, purchasing, and logistics departments to resolve any inventory issues or discrepancies.--- Identify and implement inventory reduction and improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency.--- Maintain and update the inventory data and records in the ERP system.
Requirements:--- At least three years of experience in inventory planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.--- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.--- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.--- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.--- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
