About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst who will perform the role of Data Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Data Management & Insights Corporate Functions team. The Data Analyst will analyze data and systems in a specific banking subject areas, develop metadata, perform user acceptance testing, and support the product ownership of one or more corporate Functions Authorized Provisioning Points (APPs) including Human Resources, IT Management, and Wells Fargo Administration.

In this role, you will: Analyze data and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the data and systems that support business units within the HR, Legal, Audit, Chief Operating Office, Digital including but not limited to enhancement of the Authorized Provisioning Points within the Enterprise Data Environment.
Document requirements in collaboration with the Business Enablement team, the Line of Business (LOB) and Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) to ensure project-level business and data requirements are captured accurately and completely and support communication related to requirements, design decisions, issue closure, and/or remediation updates.
Perform data profiling to understand data in systems of record (SORs) and map data elements accurately to tactical and target state solutions.
Participate in Sprints in an Agile team according to the Enterprise Agile Framework
Act as an analyst to prepare business test plans and assist with User Acceptance Testing
Support the adoption of the new data management policy and procedures
Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders
Required Qualifications, US: 4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: Experience defining, documenting, and implementing data requirements, processes, and policies
Experience performing data analysis leveraging SQL or other techniques to extract data from data warehousing platforms
Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data quality, analytics, BI, or data architecture
Experience with enterprise data warehousing and technologies such as Hadoop, Teradata, Aster, and Oracle
Subject matter expertise related to the following lines of business is desirable: HR, WF Technology, COO, Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI)
Experience with all aspects of the software development life cycle including various documentation techniques, participating in testing activities, and developing metadata
