Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience and proficiency with Siemens, Carestream, GE OEC, and Medtronic O-Arm equipment. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based at a hospital/medical center setting with potential to float across multiple campuses - Average caseload of approximately 10 scans per day - Requires experience working with all age groups; specific patient population is shift-dependent - Surgery room and surgery fluoroscopy procedures are part of the role - Epic EMR used; experience required - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Candidates who have worked at the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration - Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving - Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday holiday windows - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduction in the travel pay rate /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience in a hospital or medical center setting - Active ARRT certification and BLS required - Active Iowa state license required; candidates without an active Iowa license may still be considered due to Iowa Radiology licensure processing times — Iowa license required if applicable - Experience with Siemens fixed equipment required - Experience with Carestream portable equipment required - Experience with GE OEC C-arms required - Experience with Medtronic O-Arm required - Surgery room and surgery fluoroscopy experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Experience working with all age groups required - One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-676268.
