Description:building materials and solutions and active in four business segments: Cement, Aggregates, Ready-Mix Concrete and Solutions & Products. This location specializes in cement. Cement vendors come with their cement truck to get loaded with material. The position is called a Terminal Operator, similar to a machine operator Basic fundamentals of the job:They will monitor a machine as it transfers material between silosMonitor the machine as it fills trucks in the bayWatch the process of sand and powder funnel through the hoses.Unhook the valves and remove hoseStand 8-10 hours a dayWill get trained on the machine to make sure they will be able to do changeovers and reprogramming if necessary.Maintain grounds, offices, yard, etc.Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, bulk for rail and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.Understand and operate truck loading and transfer equipment.Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment.Sample product from trucks following company policies.Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment and mobile equipment.Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records.Skills:Production, Machine operation, Unloading, Loading, general labor, railcar, inspectionTop Skills Details:machine operator, general labor, inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESRequired Education: High School diploma/GEDRequired Work Experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing setting, CO-OP, production based environment Valid Driver's LicenseBasic computer knowledge, Microsoft Office and SAPExperience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
